2019/2020 Program Highlights

Most successful recruitment season in the last five years, with more than 25 new middle school students welcomed to our team

Major feature on Fox 9 Maury’s Stories showcased Beyond Walls for new audiences

Boy’s team won their division and the girl’s team took consolation in the SEA Team Nationals Tournament at Yale University and Choate Rosemary Hall

Growing high school girls program sent competitors to bronze tournament in Chicago at Metro Squash and monthly women’s round robin at Commodore Squash Club

Summer and Fall 2020

Summer program (in response to COVID-19) kept youth connected virtually through games, conversations about mental and physical health, and how-to courses on everything from cooking homemade spaghetti to water color painting

Students signed onto the Beyond Walls Health Challenge, agreeing to be physically active at least three days per week and to check in weekly about progress

Students gathered every other week at a park to play pickle ball, badminton, and volleyball
