Sammy Loeks-Davis, Program Director
Sammy is a University of Minnesota Duluth alumni graduating with a Bachelors degree in teaching secondary literature and communication arts and a minor in theater arts. After graduating, Sammy and her husband moved out west to Seattle where she taught 4th-6th grade students at a small progressive school creating curriculua based on students’ interests and questions while focusing on the social and emotional development of each young person. During the summer Sammy was a summer camp director for the Mill Creek YMCA Day Camp, creating an active and hands-on summer curriculum for students 1st-6th grade.
